Hi everyone,
We’re seeking 2-3 additional participants to complete a panel on the linguistic construction and contestation of belonging and individual and community identities in migratory or post-migratory contexts.
The two papers we have are both looking at these themes in the context of Spanish-speaking immigrants to the US, but the panel doesn’t need to restrict itself to those contexts. One of our papers centers on first-generation, recently arrived immigrants from Peru, and the other on second- and third-generation Latinxs in the US.
We’d also be open to joining an existing panel.
